Recently, I had the opportunity to try a Greek restaurant in Cortlandt Manor, NY. Located right off the bustling Route 6, the restaurant, Go to Greek, has an amazing chicken gyro platter, which I got, and just by the portion size, you would not leave here starving. The savory lemon-flavored potato paired well with the generous portions of chicken. For someone who tries to eat healthy, the generous portions of meat were well balanced by the salad and the potatoes. A single bit of the soft, tender meat is balanced by the aromatic, slightly acidic flavors of the potatoes. To balance it all out, Greek salad was PHENOMENAL! It had a generous portion of feta cheese, which brought out the flavors of the salad dressing and the leafy greens. I usually am not the biggest fan of olives, but this salad was still one of the best Greek salads I’ve ever had.
On top of that, the service was quick and concise – I didn’t have to wait too long after ordering to receive my food, and the customer service was excellent. The attentive staff, paired with the spacious atmosphere, supports the relaxing environment that Google says it has HAHA! While I did go here on a Thursday afternoon, this restaurant’s spacious interior would definitely be able to host your next big event.
Unfortunately, I was not able to try the other items their vast menu offered, but I will definitely be back again. I can’t wait to try their Greek coffee, along with many of the assorted snacks they sell as well! Will I ever go back again? Yes – their fast-casual vibes and moderately priced delicious food items make the experience worth it. I will go there again, and so should you!
